Newgrove is committed to making its website accessible and usable for as many people as possible, including disabled users. Our aim is to provide an inclusive experience for all visitors, regardless of their technology, location or abilities.
You should be able to:
- Navigate most of the site using a keyboard
- Zoom in up to at least 200% without loss of content or functionality
- Use a screen reader with meaningful link text and logical headings
If you have any difficulty using this site or accessing the information contained within it, please contact us by phone on +44 2033974711 or by email at info@ periscopemapping.com and a member of staff will assist you.
Standards we work to
We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 as our benchmark and aim to meet level AA wherever reasonably possible. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for disabled people, while also improving usability for everyone.
We see accessibility both as good practice and as part of our responsibility under the Equality Act 2010 to avoid discrimination and make reasonable adjustments.
Where accessibility may fall short
We are reviewing the Newgrove website to identify and fix accessibility issues. At present, some areas may not be fully accessible, for example:
- Older PDF, Word and other documents that may not be tagged correctly for screen readers.
- Occasional components or pages that may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.2 AA (for example, focus indicators or error messaging).
If you need information from the site in a different format (accessible PDF, large print, audio or HTML), contact us and we’ll do our best to provide it promptly.

Technical details
This website is built using semantic HTML and responsive design, and is intended to work well with:
- Current versions of major browsers (such as Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox)
- Assistive technologies including screen readers, screen magnifiers and speech recognition tools
We do not use “access keys” because they can conflict with shortcut keys used by assistive technologies and different browsers. Instead, we focus on clear structure, keyboard friendly navigation and visible focus indicators.
Using accessibility features in your browser or device
Most modern browsers and devices include built-in accessibility and personalisation features, such as:
- Changing text size and zoom level
- Adjusting colours and contrast
- Screen readers or read aloud tools
You can usually find these options in your browser or device’s settings, or by searching for “accessibility” in the help section.
Our ongoing commitment
Accessibility is an ongoing process, not a one‑time project.
We are:
- auditing the site against WCAG 2.2 AA
- fixing issues as we identify them
- updating content and documents to improve accessibility over time
We review this statement regularly and update it when we make significant changes to the site or our accessibility approach.
